    HR 822 - Forces Gun Owners to Obtain Liability Insurance

     HR 822 would add yet another barrier to entry for exercising a fundamental, constitutional right. Under the bill, individuals would first be required to obtain liability insurance before purchasing a firearm.

    HR 838 - Wholesale Domestic Surveillance of Gun Owners

     HR 838 would permit levels of espionage against the American people not seen since the introduction of the Patriot Act. This Republican-sponsored bill would establish a "Task Force" of 24 unelected, generally unsupervised individuals to oversee a national strategy of monitoring private citizens under the guise of preventing "targeted violence through behavioral threat assessment."

     The U.S. Senate is considering "Red Flag" legislation, an "Assault Weapons" ban, a Magazine Ban, and Universal Background Checks. All of these proposals are unconstitutional, unsound, and dangerous.
